Information for Teachers and Staff We are HAPPY and GRATEFUL that Mrs. Dunn is returning this week on Friday!  Welcome Back! Mrs. Pamatigan will continue to serve as TA Principal until Friday.   This week we bid ALOHA to Ms. Sarah Kim.  Sarah will be focusing on her family and her last day for this school year will be Thursday.  We appreciate all she has done for Ho‘okele and wish her the best! We welcome back Ms. Deb Eveland to the 5th grade classroom. Thank you for informing admin of any students who will not be participating in our Fall Costume Parade.  We will have a space for them to do alternative activities. You can send them to the PCNC room/Transition center with a chromebook, ipad or other fun activity for them to complete during this time.  There are also games and books for them in the center. Information for Teachers and Staff It’s National Bullying Prevention Month! Every October, schools and organizations across the country join STOMP out Bullying in observing National Bullying Prevention Month.  The goal: encourage communities to work together to stop bullying and cyber bullying by increasing awareness of the prevalence and impact of bullying on all children of all ages. Please share the activities listed below with your students for this week. RISE Church will be hosting Harvest Night “Trunk or Treat” on Halloween.  If any teachers or groups would like to participate and decorate a trunk, here is the link for you to sign up. Information for Teachers and Staff From Mrs. Yamada:  Thank you Teachers and Staff of Ho'okele for your warm welcome and aloha during my TA subbing.  I enjoyed your hospitality, visits to the classrooms and doing yard/bus duty and just being around the students to just talk story.  It was a pleasure working with you. We hope you had a fantastic break!   As a reminder, VP Melinda Pamatigan will be TA Principal until 10/23/2019.  We do not have an additional TA VP assigned during this time.   Hepatitis B Vaccination schedule and  Personal Record forms have been distributed.  Please let administration know if you will be needing time from work to get these vaccinations completed.
