Information for Faculty and Staff
Thank you for a smooth week back to school and work last week!  It was great to see so many classes working on Tribes activities and reviewing routines and expectations to start off the New Year!

Resource classes resume this week, but no PLCs.  Please follow your students and help support behavior expectations.  

All students in Grades 3-5 will be taking the Smarter Balanced Assessment Interim from January 15-25 from 8:15-10:00. To help minimize distractions for our test takers, please refrain from having students walk through the upper grade halls and the library during testing hours.  Please refer to Jared’s email for testing details.

 Congratulations to Ms. Nakama! Baby Drew was born on January 1, 2019. Ms. Jennifer Albee is her sub in grade 1 for the quarter.

Information for Students
Enjoy your resource classes this week! Be respectful to your teachers and have fun learning!

Good luck to our students in grades 3-5 on your SBA interim assessments this week and next week.  Eat a good breakfast and focus on doing your best!

We are asking for your help in maintaining a clean campus.  Please clean up after yourselves regardless if it is before or after school, on the bus or at A+.  We should never see food wrappers or trash left behind on the playcourts or in our common areas.

We are also noticing lots of items left behind and ending up in the lost and found.  Please take care of your belongings so they are not lost! Unclaimed items will be donated.

Lastly, please take care of the recess equipment.  Many jump ropes and hula hoops have been broken and soccer balls are not returned at the end of recess time.  Do not pull on the tetherball ropes, so they will last longer. Leave things in the condition you found them or better.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
