Updates for Week of March 5, 2018
Information for Faculty and Staff
Congratulations to Ashley Shinn, our MARCH Hihimanu Hero of the month! Ashley was nominated by her peers for her positive attitude and willingness to help out in every way she can! Ms. Shinn goes above and beyond! Thank you Ashley for all that you do-your colleagues appreciate it!
We look forward to reading your nominations each month-your comments about each other are quite uplifting and powerful. We have several very close runners-up, so if your hero has not been selected, be sure to nominate them again the next month!
BIG Mahalo to Ms. Laura Brown and all of the staff who have helped to bring us our 3rd annual musical performance. We are very excited to see the Jungle Book Kids performance this week!
Thank you to Jared and Elizabeth for planning the career week activities and Career Day this Wednesday! What a great way to inspire our students!

Information for Students
We have an exciting week this week with Career Day on Wednesday and our Jungle Book Kids performances this week Friday and Saturday!
Please remember to show appreciations and mutual respect to our presenters and performers by being an attentive audience. Applaud in an appropriate way at an appropriate time and refrain from any outside talking as others are speaking or performing!
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Jungle Book Kids! We can’t wait to see your performances!
We have a new activity at recess-cup stacking. The cups may be used as part of a relay race or team challenges. Please do not step or lay on top of the cups. Do not wear them on your head or crash into them as others are building them. Have fun and take care of this new equipment. As a reminder, no chasing or tag games are permitted. We invite you to run or race in the grassy areas away from other activities and equipment.
Tattling or Reporting? There is a difference between tattling and telling. Telling is sometimes called reporting. See the chart below to help you decide when you should tell your teacher. If you’re not sure, just ask!
Have a great week!
