We have made it to the last week of school!
Can you believe all of you have accomplished!  You are amazing!  There are not enough words to express our appreciation for all you have done to help us survive the year!  THANK YOU!
Please note yard duty for this week.  Here is a copy of the schedule.  
Enjoy this week and have wonderful vacation time with your families!
This Week:
5/23:  Movie Time Grades 3-5 (8:15-10:15 am Cafeteria)
           10:15 am Student Council Rally Rehearsal (Cafeteria)
5/24:  Movie Time PreK-2 (8:15-10:15 Cafeteria)
           Grade 5 IDs for students going to Kapolei Middle (8:30-9:30 am F Building upstairs)
           Student Club Movie Time
           (Library Club, CPOs, Robotics, Student Council)-Time 11:30-2:00 pm.
5/25:  Quarter 4 Ho’okele CARES Awards Assembly (8:30-9:30 Cafeteria)
           Student Council Campaign Rally/Elections (9:30 Cafeteria)
           2:05 Student Release
5/26:  Last Day for Students!
           Report Cards go home
            1:00-2:30 pm Faculty Forum
5/27:  Last Day for Teachers, EAs and Health Aide
           Use of Facilities (7:00-8:30 am SFSM Meeting in Staff Dining Room)
DUE:  May 27
CUSTODIAL:
                        (on summer information)
  • Turn in Keys (room, file cabinet, desk, etc.) to Head Custodian

As a reminder, teachers’ last day is May 27.  Above is due.  On the Instructions for closing out the year, you will see the remainder of tasks to be completed before summer.  You may finish those all by May 27, or take additional time IF YOU WISH for other tasks except custodial.  Custodians will begin cleaning rooms on May 31!!

Hi Students,
Congratulations on being the very first students to finish the very first year at Ho‘okele Elementary School.  You are forever a part of the history of our school!  Thank you for being here and being a part of an incredible year.
Keep reading and working on your goals.  We will see you in a couple months and have already planned fun things to get us off to a great start for school year 2016-17!  See you in August!
Bravo to the cast and crew of Aladdin!  The amazing performances were the result of your hard work, dedication and commitment.  Great job and kudos to Mrs. Brown for taking on this incredible endeavor!

I hope you have enjoyed these challenges to help remind you of expected behavior.  Even if there is not always a prize at the end, we hope you have learned that showing appropriate behavior in school can be rewarding in itself.  Challenge yourselves:  If you behave well-it should make you feel great!
Congratulations this week to our gotcha winners and to our perfect attendance winners.  We will have some celebrations this week during your lunch times.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do! In addition to celebrating our administrative professionals, this week we also gratefully acknowledge the vital contributions of our campus volunteers.
