Hi Everyone, We hope your conferences are going smoothly.  Thank you for creating such welcoming settings for your parents to come in and feel comfortable.  The extra touches have been noticed! When reporting an absence, don’t forget to change the default times on absences to 7:45-2:45 when calling or using TSEAS online. Please have your students wear their colored name tags visibly at chest level (not low on a lanyard).  The purpose of this is to help adults learn student names, so please have them wear this every day.  We appreciate your help! Updates week of 10/19/2015

Hi Everyone, We have been selected to have a federal audit on our school food services program this January. This is a very important audit that we must do well on.  It is very important that students wear or bring their IDs to lunch with them.  If they have lost it or damaged it, they need to purchase a replacement in the office (we need to work out details of this…) We will be sending out more reminders as we prepare for this audit.  Please let your students know the importance of their ID for meals.  Also, please have them practice saying their names loudly if asked in order to verify their names. As a reminder,  adults on campus must have money in their accounts in order to purchase lunch. No loans/negative balances are permitted for staff.   Just a reminder-our Dedication Ceremony is coming up quickly on November 6.  We have over 60 VIP who have RSVP’d that they are coming.  Thank you for your help and assistance and flexibility as w...

Updates for Week of 10/12/2015

Hi Everyone, Welcome back!  We hope you had an enjoyable break! Our field area will not be ready for use as anticipated upon our return.  We are now being told it will likely be ready in early November.  This means recess areas will continue as is for now, and our fire drill area will not be modified until we have the field area to use.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.  While on yard duty, please assist younger students with bathroom doors as needed and double check before leaving the field area that students are accounted for. We will be checking on the doors as some maybe having difficulty with the locks. Also, please see message below to students regarding changes to the hill area-tag and chase games will no longer be permitted. Did you know… our campus is using non-potable water from a variety of sources, including recycled water, rainwater and reclaimed water.  While non-potable water may not possess an unpleasant smell or ...

Updates for Week of 10/5/2015

Hi Everyone, Have a great fall break!  Have fun! We hope you have a wonderful and restful fall break!  If you are planning to come to campus to work during school hours form 10/5-10/9, please check in the office BEFORE going to your classrooms to see if your building has been disarmed and notify custodians that you will be here. Mike is not planning on disarming the whole campus every day.  Custodians will be ending their days at 4:30 pm.  Anyone staying later than 4:15 p.m. must secure and set alarm in building. If you come after regular school hours, you will need to disarm and re-alarm your buildings as you normally would during those times. They will be installing interior window shades for classrooms during this fall break.  Erin our ASA will also be starting to do pre fire inspections in the classrooms.  Please see these fire safety reminders and adhere to the guidelines at all times.  If you have any questions, let me know.
