Hi Everyone, Thank you for your time, attention, professionalism and positive energy during our first week together last week!  It is so important for us to help each other out during this week as we navigate through the start of school.  We are sure you feel some level of anxiety and hope that together we can help support each other through this exciting time. On Saturday, Laureen and I will attend the Mele and Hula at Lanikuhonua where we will be receiving donation money for the school.   As a reminder, we are asking for your support to be on yard duty for Wednesday and Thursday this week.  This will help all of us learn the routines and expectations and help our students know where to go.  Our support team will then cover yard duty until the rotation begins on 8/10. Hi Everyone, This is going to be a very busy week as we prepare for students next week!  There are many exciting happenings and we are sure you have many questions.  We appreciate your prompt responses, your flexibility and your patience as updates are occurring constantly!  We will be sending out the agenda for our Admin Day which will include an interactive Q & A feature to help us help you get prepared for your students. It will also provide links to the required videos in case you want to get a head start on watching them! Don't forget lunch order forms for our PD days. Payment and orders due by Wednesday, 7/22! Payments can be made in the office. Hi Everyone, For those who have not met me, I am your Vice Principal and am looking forward to working with all of you this school year at our new school!  My first year here at Ho’okele marks my 20th year in the DOE!  I have been a VP at Waipahu and Fern Elementary Schools and was an SSC and Special Education Teacher at McKinley High School.  I am incredibly excited to get to know all of you! With your start coming up next week-we are working feverishly to get everything set up and ready to go.  Thank you so much for responding and completing requests and assignments that have been sent to you from me and Jill.  Please do so as soon as possible if you have not already!
