Congratulations to Coach Shota-Chang and our basketball team for their performance at Friday’s tournament.  It was great to see them on our home court!  Our Girls team won 3 out of 4 games and the Boys won 2 out of 4 games.

Thank you to our PTA for the Parent Activity Night last Friday!  Our families had so much fun creating ornaments, taking photos and enjoying the hot cocoa bar!


Fire Drill Feedback-

Last week, our monthly fire drill with obstacles took 5 minutes, which is the same amount of time our prior months’ drills have taken.  Staff and students did a great job with the obstacles and finding alternate routes.  We also tried to have the line up in any order based on how you came out to the field.  Most classes ended up in a similar location, however it did seem to save time knowing you did not have to move or shift when another class came out.  Just be sure you are spreading out enough to allow room for all classes.

Moving forward, for future drills, please continue to come out to the line up area and show your numbered binder facing the school.  We will track the numbers for accountability, however will not need you to be numerically aligned with the class next to yours.  We also want to ask that you use BOTH SIDES of the stairs when coming downstairs closest to your exit.

We will see if this shaves off any time for next month’s drill.

Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school.
