Updates for Week of September 25, 2023

We are just 2 weeks away from the end of Quarter 1!  Seems like just yesterday we were preparing for the opening of the school year and now we will be preparing for Fall Break and Parent Teacher Conferences!  Take time to celebrate all you have accomplished so far.  Jot some notes in your journal about the biggest hurdle you have overcome and how you will celebrate your amazing-ness over the fall break! Picture Day is this Week Wednesday! All staff are invited to take a picture for yearbook and ID in the cafeteria before school or at the end of the last class as the schedule allows. Schedule is linked .   Please let VP Umeno know if you need to adjust the schedule for your class. Got Incredible Students?  It’s CARES AWARDS time! Students are eligible for selection for one quarter only, every other year. Therefore, students who were selected last school year are not eligible to receive the award this school year. ALOHA! We have just 4 more weeks of the quarter and things are really progressing quickly for the school year.  Thank you for all you do to connect with students to make the learning experience engaging for them.   We have some exciting field trips this week, an author visit and some new activities to help inspire students.  We appreciate the extra effort that goes into the planning and implementation of these activities as well as the flexibility for all when there are adjustments along the way.  It was very inspiring to hear about your PBL projects last week and we look forward to hearing more about how those projects are progressing.
