Faculty and Staff Updates Aloha! WELCOME to our new counselor, Mr. Eduardo Garibay!   He is an experienced counselor who will be a great contribution to our team!  We are still working on the details of his position and location, but you can expect to see him teaching SEL lessons and working with students starting this week.  For now, he will be based in the Office Conference Room. Ms. Cristinette Likiardopolous is our new MFLC counselor who started recently as well.  Her focus is primarily with students in military families.  You may have seen her already working with students individually and in small groups for Lunch Bunch.  Her office is in the PSAP room area outside of the SSC office. We are excited to have both of these experienced counselors on our team to help support our students! Faculty and Staff Updates   Career Week! From Katie Yamamoto (Email 2/12/2022)   February 14-18 is Ho`okele's Career Week!     In an effort to help support college and career readiness, Ho`okele parents and local community members have graciously volunteered their time to create pre-recorded videos about their careers to help our students learn about different job opportunities that are available in the community. Due to current restrictions, these pre-recordings are in lieu of our in-person career day that was held in the past.    The Career Day videos are provided to you as a Career Day Choiceboard via Seesaw! We kindly ask for you to please share some of the speakers with your students during this week. With Seesaw, you have some flexibility when sharing these careers with your students. You can assign the Seesaw lesson to your students individually, or view them as a whole group. You also can edit or change the attached assignment to fit your class...

This week we celebrate our AMAZING counselors, Mrs. Okamoto and Mrs. Yamamoto.  Thank you for everything that you do for the students, staff, families and our school community.  WE APPRECIATE YOU! From Principal Rankie (2/3/2022) STEM / Coding Position - If you are interested in this teaching position for the 2022 - 2023 school year please let me know by this Friday at 4:00pm.  The position will support half (K-2 or 3-5) of the grade levels with STEM as well as teach Coding for those classes on resource days. The position will also be considered part of the support team and will have additional roles and responsibilities as needed.    Teacher Institute Day - Please be advised that teachers are authorized to access internet and computer resources at their respective campuses to participate in the teacher institute program.
