Information for Teachers and Staff Here comes Winter Break,  Here comes Winter Break,  Right after this week is through… The beach and shopping and traveling are a few things we will do! No school bells ringing, teachers singing All are happy and full o’ cheer. Put away those laptops and have some fun, ‘Cause WINTER BREAK is almost here! Information for Teachers and Staff A friendly ask from our adult supervisors: please make sure you're picking up students from lunch on time to avoid added crowding in the cafeteria. Also, please remind student table wipers to do a thorough job.  Ms. Christina Asencios has graciously accepted the sub teaching position for Ms. Eveland’s class for the remainder of this semester.  THANK YOU, Christina!   As a result, we will attempt to provide coverage for her coding classes this week; however since there are no PLCs this week, it may be likely that teachers will have their own classes during these blocks.  Please make arrangements for your class to have independent work activities to do if you are doing assessments during that block of time. If support is available, we will send them to assist. Information for Teachers and Staff Hope you enjoyed the Thanksgiving Weekend!  Welcome back! Fire Inspection is Monday.  Please make sure your room will pass inspection by keeping it free from clutter and all access to doors and pull stations clear.  If you have decorations and lighting up, make sure the extensions are not piggy-backed. Refer to emails from Mike and former posts for details. This Wednesday is IPDP sharing party for teachers as part of your evidence for EES (for those on cycle this year).  It might not be as fun as turkey bowling...but it will still be a great time! Information for Teachers and Staff Please join us on Wednesday after school for a community building activity before the Thanksgiving Holiday!   See you in the library at 1:10 pm! Dear Staff,  I want to thank all of you for supporting the Library at our Scholastic Book Fair during Nov. 12-20! We sold a lot of merchandise and raised money to purchase new books for our Ho‘okele Library. Thank you for being flexible with the use of the library space, for allowing your students to preview the book fair & make purchases during recess, for making the time to attend the Teacher Preview & create Teacher Wish Lists, and for those who were able to volunteer their time to assist in any way possible. I could not do this Book Fair without the support of our school community. I am truly grateful for you all!
