Information for Faculty and Staff Please congratulate Ms. Tere Motas on her retirement from the DOE!  Ms. Tere’s last day is Wednesday 10/31! Mr. Jason Centeio will start in the EA position for Ms. Tere on Thursday Nov. 1.  We have also offered a position to another EA but are awaiting approval and a start date for her. Reminder:  Changes to resource schedule for this week:  Grades 2 and 3 have resources on Monday instead of Friday! Thank you to all for your flexibility during PT conference weeks! Information for Faculty and Staff Please note some adjustments for PLC and resource times impacting Grades 3 and 4 to try to make up  some time due to PT conference schedule. Updates will be sent if additional changes are made. Jill created a helpful presentation that includes Helpful tips for preparing for Parent-Teacher Conferences.  Refer to slides 11-22 for How to Prepare and How to Ensure a Successful Conference .   As a safety reminder, if you are the last class exiting the field, you must make sure that the gates are closed and locked at all times when fields are not in use.  Gates should not be left open at any times other than recess or safety drills. Recently some of the gates have been left open, allowing parents to enter before the end of the school day.  Our PE teacher has a key. Information for Faculty and Staff Welcome Back!  We hope you enjoyed your Fall Break!  We are due for a busy week in preparation for report cards and parent-teacher conferences which start on October 23, 2018.  Let us know what help you need! The week coming back from break is a great time to reconnect with your students using TRIBES activities and behavioral reminders on our expectations.  Remember to praise appropriate behaviors and use those Gotcha rewards ! Thank you teachers for uploading your IPDP with your classroom management plans and the STOIC  checklist. You will be notified if your IPDP is missing any information.
