Information for Faculty
We appreciate all of you and what you bring to our Ho‘okele family!
We wish you all a happy and restful break to enjoy the holiday season with your family and friends.  You have all worked so hard and now it is time
to relax, unwind and get ready for 2017!

Are you wearing your best holiday clothes?  Show your spirit this week as we get ready for our fun-filled get together on Wednesday!

Please remember to clean out your refrigerators prior to break!  

We will need to conduct a fire drill this week and will plan on doing one that will not interfere with planned activities.  Thank you in advance!  Also, if you have safety concerns, please send to Mindy for follow up with safety committee by Tuesday morning.

Planning to come in over break?  Be sure to check in at the office as alarms may not be turned off during the school day.  Campus will be closing at 4 pm daily and is completely closed on December 26 and January 2.  If at any time you happen to accidentally set off an alarm, please text Mindy ASAP so I can notify the alarm company of the false alarm-they call me much more quickly than you will be able to get through to them.  Please follow up with a call to APN after you have texted me.

Starting January 6, Ms. Julie Yeaman will take over the 2nd grade class for Jan Takahashi.  Ms. Katie Yamamoto has decided to take leave for the remainder of the school year, but we will see her working part time on campus soon!

We think she has really just gone above and beyond and she's just an awesome person to work with! We will miss her positive attitude, dedication, and sense of humor as her last day is Wednesday!

BRIGHT SPOT from Ms. Craft (music teacher for lower grades):  Congratulations to Ms. Maehara and Ms. Sah’s classes for having the highest number of behavior points for 2nd quarter music class!  Great job!

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
