Congratulations on our first semester!  
We are changing our Wednesday and Thursday schedules this week.  This includes your yard duty responsibilities-so if you have yard duty on Wednesday, you will have it on Thursday and vice versa.  Also, if you are scheduled for Friday yard duty, please report on Wednesday to help cover for the PTTs who will not be working this week. There will therefore be lunch recess on Wednesday and no lunch recess on Thursday. Please be sure to pick up your students from the cafeteria on Thursday after lunch for this week!
We will have modified yard duty upon our return (as we will not have PTTs on campus/No PLCs).  
Yard Duty for January 6-8.  I shifted some of the Monday and Tuesday people to cover Thursday and Friday PTT slots. Let me know if this does not work!
See you Thursday after school for our Holiday Celebration!
Our CARES awards assembly is Wednesday.  Seating is attached.  We will provide chairs for teachers and label seating for parents in the back.
Aloha and Mahalo to Doreen Mercado, our baker whose last week is this week.  We appreciate all of her help to get us started this year at Ho’okele and enjoyed her yummy baking!  You will be missed!
Please unplug all tech carts before you leave on break.
If you do come in over break, you MUST check in at the office to see if the buildings have been disarmed and so we know who is on campus.  Let the office know when you will be leaving so we can be sure alarms are turned on.  If you set off an alarm, immediately call APN and give them your code.  If we do get calls from APN, we will send the police if we cannot confirm the issue.  Office will close at 4 pm on work days.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
