Updates for Week of April 1, 2024

Happy April!  Just 2 more months of school!  We hope you had a great 3 day weekend and are ready to jump into some actual 5 day work/school weeks! Resources and PLCs resume this week.  Have an amazing 1st week of April! Please use this FORM during Quarter 4 to report any student absences that parents/guardians report to you.  Only fill out the form if you have been in contact with the parent/guardian. Please bookmark this form for future reference Parents may also report the student absences by calling the office or by filling out the form that is emailed to parents of absent students. However, the teacher and parents still need to be in contact directly. Professional Development Day Information Agenda for Monday’s Waiver Day EA’s, please join the SPED Group for sharing out from the SPED Conference in Texas. Counselors will be coming by to share more information about Career Day with your grade levels during your PD on Monday. Career Day Information Lower Grade Career Days (K-2) Information and Schedules Upper Grade (3-5) Career Day Information Thank you to our counselors and Michell Shue for your coordination and planning of these special days for our students! Shout out to Grade 1 Teachers Noelani Hansen and Kristen Tamaru for coordinating the participation of our 1st Grade Students in the 2024 Prince Kūhiō Day Parade on 3/16/2024!  The students were very enthusiastic along the 2 mile parade route and represented Ho‘okele extremely well!  They showcased the learning they are doing of the Hawaiian Values.  Thanks to Candice Yamamoto, Cindy Reyes and the parents who joined the parade with our students.  It was a fun ...
